Adding or editing environments
Use the Manage > Runtime Management > Environments page to add or edit an environment.
You must have the Runtime Management and Environment Management privileges to perform these tasks. If you have the Runtime Management Read Access privilege, you cannot perform the task.
Add an environment

On the Environments page, click New and select Environment from the list.

Enter a name fo the environment.
cautionEnvironment names are restricted to 80 characters. There are no restrictions to the type of characters allowed.

(For accounts with Unlimited environment support) In the Environment Classification field, select Production or Test to indicate the environment type. This classification can be set only when you add an environment. You cannot change it later.

Click Save.
Edit an environment

On the Environments page, click the name of the environment you want to edit.

Make changes as needed. Changes are saved automatically.
noteYou cannot change the environment ID or classification of an existing environment. For example. you cannot change an existing Production environment to Test.
